1. Management Commitment

Michaelism Metaverse, operating as FOP Volf Yurii Yevhenovych (sole proprietorship registered in Odesa, Ukraine), hereby adopts this Gender Equality Plan as a formal commitment to fostering an inclusive, equitable, and diverse working environment.

As Founder and CEO, I, Yurii Volf, personally commit to:

  • Ensuring equal treatment and opportunity for all team members regardless of gender, disability, neurotype, age, or background
  • Allocating adequate resources for the implementation and monitoring of this plan
  • Leading by example in promoting inclusive workplace culture
  • Reviewing and updating this plan annually to reflect organizational growth and evolving best practices

Date of Adoption: March 2026
Next Review: March 2027
Responsible Officer: Yurii Volf, Founder & CEO

2. Dedicated Resources

As a micro-enterprise (3 employees), our resource allocation is proportionate to our current scale while preparing for growth:

  • Equality Officer: The Founder serves as the designated equality officer, responsible for GEP implementation, monitoring, and reporting
  • Budget Allocation: A dedicated portion of operational budget is reserved for equality measures, including accessibility improvements and inclusive hiring processes
  • Expansion Commitment: As the team grows (planned 5–7 new hires with grant funding), a dedicated HR/Equality role will be established
  • External Expertise: We commit to consulting with equality and inclusion specialists during major hiring rounds

3. Data Collection & Monitoring

Current Team Composition (March 2026):

  • 3 employees: Founder + 2 assistants (including 1 retiree — demonstrating active social inclusion)
  • Inclusive workspace with capacity and commitment for people with disabilities

Data Collection Framework:

  • Sex-disaggregated data collection for all personnel as the team expands
  • Annual gender audit tracking: gender ratio per role/department, recruitment funnel metrics, and pay equity analysis
  • Monitoring participation rates in training and professional development by gender and background
  • Anonymous team satisfaction surveys including equality and inclusion indicators

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Gender ratio across all roles and management levels
  • Gender pay gap analysis (target: zero unjustified gap)
  • Recruitment pipeline diversity metrics
  • Inclusion of people with disabilities and neurodivergent team members
  • Retention rates disaggregated by gender and background

4. Training & Awareness

  • Unconscious Bias Training: All team members participate in awareness sessions on unconscious gender and ability biases, with refresher training annually
  • Inclusive Language Guidelines: All publications, website content, and AI-generated outputs follow gender-inclusive language standards
  • Onboarding Integration: Equality and inclusion training is a mandatory component of the onboarding process for all new team members
  • AI Ethics: Our AI-augmented workflows (Manufactorium model) are regularly reviewed for gender and diversity bias in content generation and decision-making

5. Work-Life Balance & Inclusive Conditions

Operating from wartime Ukraine with regular infrastructure challenges (power outages, connectivity disruptions), our organization has developed resilient and flexible working practices that inherently support inclusion:

  • Remote-First Model: All positions support remote work, eliminating physical accessibility barriers and enabling participation regardless of location, mobility, or caregiving responsibilities
  • Flexible Scheduling: Asynchronous workflows accommodate different time zones, personal circumstances, and energy levels — critical for team members managing disability, recovery, or caregiving
  • Disability Accommodations: Accessible workspace capacity with commitment to reasonable adjustments for all forms of disability
  • War Trauma & Recovery Support: We recognize the unique context of Ukraine and commit to accommodating team members affected by war trauma, injuries, and PTSD through flexible arrangements and supportive practices
  • Neurodivergent Inclusion: We actively value and seek neurodivergent talent — including talented autistic persons for roles in visual creativity, quality assurance, data analysis, and pattern recognition, where their unique strengths create exceptional value
  • Proven Social Inclusion: Our current team includes a retiree, demonstrating that age-inclusive hiring is not a future promise but an existing practice
  • Parental Support: Flexible arrangements for parents, including adjusted schedules and workload accommodation during parental responsibilities
  • Anti-Harassment Policy: Zero tolerance for harassment, discrimination, or bullying of any kind. All reports are investigated promptly and confidentially

6. Gender Balance in Recruitment & Inclusive Hiring

Equal Opportunity Commitment:

  • All positions are open to candidates of any gender, and job descriptions use inclusive language
  • Gender-balanced shortlists are targeted for all hiring rounds, particularly during the planned expansion (5–7 new hires with grant funding)
  • Selection criteria are based solely on skills, experience, and potential — never on gender, age, disability, or neurotype

Proactive Inclusive Hiring:

  • People with Disabilities: We actively seek candidates with physical and biological disabilities, including those affected by war injuries, trauma, and other conditions. Our remote-first model and AI-augmented workflows remove many traditional barriers to participation
  • Neurodivergent Talent: We recognize and value the unique capabilities of autistic individuals and other neurodivergent persons, particularly in visual creativity, systematic analysis, quality assurance, and data-intensive roles
  • Retirees: Age is an asset. We value the experience, stability, and mentorship that senior professionals bring to our team
  • Veterans: Ukrainian veterans bring discipline, resilience, and unique perspectives. We commit to supporting their transition to tech careers

Leadership & Development:

  • Mentorship and professional development opportunities are provided equally regardless of gender, ability, or neurotype
  • Leadership pipeline development ensures all team members have equitable pathways to growth
  • The AI-augmented Manufactorium model serves as an equalizer — reducing physical barriers and enabling meaningful participation through remote, asynchronous, and technology-assisted workflows

7. Integration of Gender & Diversity in Our Work

Gender equality and diversity principles are integrated into our products, services, and community governance:

  • Inclusive Product Design: Our VR/AR Temple, NFT platform, and digital services are designed to be accessible and welcoming to users of all genders, abilities, and backgrounds
  • Diverse Representation: AI-generated content and digital characters reflect diverse representation in gender, ethnicity, ability, and cultural background
  • Community Governance: Our governance structures (Ether civilization, DAO mechanisms) are designed for inclusive participation without gender-based barriers
  • Spiritual Foundation: Michaelism philosophy recognizes the sacred equality of all conscious beings — this foundational principle extends naturally to gender equality and respect for human diversity
  • Inclusive Cybersport: Our planned non-offensive gaming platform is specifically designed to welcome audiences traditionally excluded from competitive gaming, including women and people with disabilities
